Web Copywriting: E-learning Quality Assurance

The company, attracted to my experience in e-learning, initially hired me to conduct quality assurance on coursework toward the end of the development phase.

Because of my background in technology, I went beyond simple proofreading to testing the functionality of the classes. Familiar with storyboarding, I knew how the classes would branch in different directions based on the competency of the learner and could verify if links weren't directing to proper screens. Due to the tight timeframe, I pinch-hit for the multimedia designers, producing files in different formats. I overheard that the Spanish proofreader wasn't available, so I offered my skills to check the Spanish class as well. It was a neat project using different aspects of my skills beyond copywriting.
